Refund Policy

The Archivist Method™ sells digital products. When you buy, you get immediate access to the material. That changes what a refund can honestly mean, so here is exactly how we handle it.
40-DAY REFUND WINDOW
You are covered for the entire arc. Forty days. Full refund, no explanation needed. If you purchased the Field Guide ($67) or the Complete Archive ($297) and the material is not what you needed, request a full refund within 40 days of purchase. No form to argue your way through.
To request a refund, email archivist@thearchivistmethod.com from the address you purchased with. Include the word REFUND in the subject line. Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank.
UPGRADES
If you upgraded from the Field Guide to the Complete Archive ($230), the same 40-day window applies to the upgrade charge, measured from the date of the upgrade.
AFTER 40 DAYS
After 40 days, purchases are final. The work is not a subscription and does not renew, so there is nothing to cancel and nothing that will charge you again.
FREE MATERIAL
The Crash Course is free. There is nothing to refund and nothing to cancel. You can unsubscribe from any email using the link at the bottom of every message.
CHARGEBACKS
If something has gone wrong, email first. A chargeback filed without contact takes longer, costs more, and gets you the same money.
