These are the terms of service, in plain words. By using The Archivist Method™ (thearchivistmethod.com), you agree to them. Read the part that applies to you; the headings say which.
WHAT THIS IS
The Archivist Method is a self-directed behavioral-interception system that uses pattern archaeology, in-the-moment spoken interruption and structured behavioral rewrite to help people work with recurring everyday patterns. It is an education product: reading, self-directed exercises, and the Pocket Archivist, a chat held to the method.
The Archivist Method isn't therapy, and that's the point. Therapy processes your past. This intercepts the patterns running your present. It's built for people who already understand themselves and still can't stop. If you're in crisis or need clinical support, we'll always point you there first.
YOUR ACCOUNT
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. One account per person. Don't share your login or purchased materials with others.
PURCHASES & REFUNDS
All purchases are one-time payments. No subscriptions. No recurring charges.
The files are yours forever. The Pocket Archivist stays open to you for as long as the Archive is running.

- ▪The Complete Archive: every pattern, and how they conspire. $297, one-time purchase. Includes all nine patterns at full depth, the Map of how they combine, the Return for the day one comes back, the complete reader, the Complete Archive PDF download, and the Pocket Archivist with no daily cap.
You are covered for the entire arc. Forty days. Full refund, no explanation needed. If the Field Guide or the Complete Archive is not what you needed, request a full refund within 40 days of purchase. Email us at archivist@thearchivistmethod.com.
YOUR CONTENT
Anything you enter into the AI chat, pattern logs, or interrupt logs belongs to you. We don't sell your data. We don't share it, except that your chat messages go to Anthropic to write the reply, as the Privacy Policy says. We don't use it for advertising.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
The Archivist Method™, all written content, the method, the pattern descriptions, the field guides, and the Complete Archive are protected intellectual property. You may not redistribute, resell, or republish any of it without written permission.
THE AI
The Pocket Archivist is an AI chat held to the method. It is not a therapist. It does not give medical, legal, or financial advice. Use your judgment. If something doesn't feel right, trust yourself over the AI.
LIABILITY
The Archivist Method is provided as-is. We make no guarantees about specific outcomes. Pattern interruption is a practice. Results depend on your engagement with the method. We are not liable for decisions you make based on the content or tools provided.
CHANGES
We may update these terms. If we do, we'll update the date at the top. Continued use means you accept the updated terms.
