Letting a frame grow

A frame starts at a fixed height. Add this line once if you want it to fit its content. It reads one number and nothing else.

The terms

The tools are free to use on any site. The credit line stays, and the link stays. That is the only condition.

Version 1 is frozen. Code you paste today keeps working. A change that would break it ships as version 2, and version 1 keeps running. If version 1 is ever retired, this page says so first.

What the tools collect: nothing

WHAT THEY NEVER DO

• They set no cookies and store nothing on a reader's device.
• They send nothing a reader types anywhere. It stays on the reader's device.
• They carry no analytics and no tracking pixel. That code is not in the script at all.
• They never read the address, title or content of the page they sit on.
• They count nothing. There are no view counts, click counts or install counts.
• They carry no data about anyone's pattern.
• They ask for no email, show no form, and show no price or product.

WHAT THEY DO

• They load their script and their words from thearchivistmethod.com.
• They run on the reader's own device.
• The frame version sends one number to the page around it: its own height.
