Fabulous, and the routine a pattern can break

Read what the app says it does first. Then read where it stops, and try the move at the end.

Fabulous builds routines one step at a time. A pattern can knock the whole routine over in one evening.

THE APP, IN ITS OWN WORDS

    • It says it started as a habit tracker and grew into a wider self-improvement app.
    • It helps you build a morning routine that gives your day a structure.
    • It includes a goal tracker to follow your progress.

Fabulous is an app for daily routines. It walks you into a morning routine, then adds habits one small step at a time.

This page covers what the app is good for, where it stops, and what to try.

    What it is good for

Starting small is the right move. One glass of water, then a short walk, then more. That builds real momentum.

A set routine also takes choices off the table. Fewer choices in the morning leaves more energy for the day.

    Where it stops

A routine protects the hours you can plan. A pattern shows up in the hours you cannot.

Many people keep a good streak for weeks, then one bad evening wipes it out. They blame themselves and start over on Monday.

That restart can be its own pattern. It reads one missed day as a sign the whole thing failed.

What to try when the pattern keeps running

Behavioral Interception is the practice of catching an automatic pattern as it begins, intercepting its usual response, and practicing a different action until it becomes more natural.

Watch for the moment you decide the streak is ruined. Feel the body signal, often a drop in the stomach, and name the pattern.

Then do the different action: finish one small step today, even a bad one. Repeat it the next time the streak breaks.

The free Crash Course, short lessons on your pattern, starts by naming it.
