The Circuit Map
Pick one thing you keep doing. Write one line for each of its seven parts below. You can leave any line blank.
Nothing you type here is sent or stored. Close the tab and the map is gone, so save it before you go.
The cue is whatever the system read.
The physical event that precedes a pattern: the body signal, felt in the moment.
The thought that arrives after the body signal to explain what you are about to do.
The window is the only part with room in it.
The relief at the end is why the circuit keeps running.
Then reinforcement, which is what relief does to a sequence: it makes the next one faster and more certain.
What the seven parts are
The full sequence a pattern runs: cue, body, thought, window, behavior, relief, reinforcement. The relief at the end is why the sequence keeps repeating. Naming the whole circuit is what turns a pattern from a curse into something with parts.
The map does not read what you write. It does not match your words to a pattern, and it gives no score.
Each part has its own page. Start with the circuit and the body signal. The three moves that break it are on the protocol page.
THE ARCHIVES
A map in your own words is the start. If you want the pattern named, the assessment is the instrument for that.
